My name is Annette and I'm a student of psychological anthropology and religions.
I decided it was finally time to have a proper grow up blog devoted to grown up talk... and pictures of cats. ;)
I am interested in the nonrational, in rituals, symbols, protocols, and breaches of such as well as psychoanalysis, popular culture, religion and politics. This makes me curious about the blooming of conspiracy theories and paranoid politics in the USA, especially when they involve the occult. If enough people believe them they have the potential for interesting cultural phenomena that appears arbitary and anomolous without background knowledge.
